My Poker Story - Where It All Began...Part 1
I learned the basic rules of poker when I was about nine years old. My uncle Phil, who would always take care of me and my brothers and sisters, taught us how to play Caribbean poker for sweets. I wouldn’t suggest you to do the exact same obviously, even though it demonstrates just how easy the game can be.
I Quickly forgot all about it for a long time. It wasn’t until I was 22 I learned about a variety of poker known as Texas Hold’em. My slightly older brother would always enjoy it on television and would often mention just how enjoyable it was. He quickly showed the whole family the way to play and we actually enjoyed our very own competitions in the home, simply for the pleasure and entertainment of it.
A bit later on, while I was in fact browsing the net, I came across internet poker. Initially I believed it was just for entertainment or perhaps pretend prizes or money. Awesome Poker Hand
Check out this poker hand - it's totally awesome and one of the main reasons why I love the game so much. These are two top players, Sam Farha and Daniel Negreanu, going head to head.
In the end it's a straight plays a flush, both good hands and both players probably think they have won. The flush is drawn on the river which is a bit fortunate for Farha, but these things happen and you have to take the smooth with the rough. Hope you enjoy this hand guys.

Poker Girls Screensaver - Download & Install
So how about this as a treat for poker fans? I've got my hands on an awesome "Poker Girls" screensaver which is being distributed free. These poker girls are so great, you won't want to restart your computer once the screensaver comes up!
So here's what you do. First download the screensaver file using the link below. You might need to right click on the link and choose "save as" or "save file as" depending on which browser you're using. Save it somewhere on your computer, but remember where you put it!

Celebrating Online Poker - A new Blog
Online poker has taken a few knocks this year, with a couple of big companies getting hit for alleged breach of federal law in the US. It's a shame because it's taken some of the shine off what is a hugely popular and enjoyable pastime that's enjoyed by millions worldwide.
